About Me

Hi, I'm Adnan - a Mumbai based web and app developer. I am currently studying in Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering. I'm in my third year of my Information Technology degree program.

I love to develop and build amazing Android apps and websites. I build websites using Node.js and front-end from scratch using HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. I like to be creative with my front-end, to build modern and user-friendly UIs.

I love to learn, and I'm looking forward to learning new technologies, languages and frameworks.

Try Catch Classes

My first internship came in the form of Try Catch Classes, which is an institution for budding developers located in Borivali, Mumbai. I was given the task of building an Android app from scratch showcasing all the technologies that they teach, the students that they placed and some of the technical tips they offer.

I was provided with all the assets and the data from their team and was given the task to combine them to produce the app as soon as possible, which I was able to do within a month.

This was my first experience at uploading an app to the Google Play Store. Hopefully, first of many! Click below to download the app.

Node.js

This is a Node.js application for live teacher-student interaction to simulate practical sessions in a college, and could also be used for distance learning. This application was built by me and my team in under 30 hours in a hackathon conducted in VCET college, Mumbai, and got us a bronze medal.

This application allows a teacher to create rooms which students join, and provides the students a code-editor and allows for the compilation and running of their code in this application itself. The teacher can see and edit the code of any student live, and the code can later be posted in a feed which can be viewed by all other students.

Episode

This is a fun side project showcasing trending TV Series, to find THE ONE you can binge over the weekend. The focus on this Android application was more on the UI/UX helping me explore modern user interfaces that is user friendly as well as appealing to the eyes.

The users can be registered via Google Sign-in which provides them a home showcasing the upcoming episodes of their favourited series. The data is provided by the TMDb api.
